The township of Kissimmee to the east of Disney is the closest city to Walt Disney World, and includes many subdivisions with vacation homes. The historic old town of Kissimmee, along and between Broadway and the railway station, offers interesting antique shops and cafes in lovingly restored original buildings, seldom seen my tourists.
