Bass Lakes Estates is one of only a handful of new developments at the eastern (Kissimmee) end of the US192. Not to be confused with another community of the same name on the US27, Bass Lake Estates is on a quiet road within walking distance of the Wal-Mart Superstore, and right next door to the Osceola County Pioneer Center.

This small select community set among orange groves is located on an attractive and reputedly well-stocked fishing lake, which has a wooded conservation area as its backdrop. There is a small wooden fishing deck built next to a barbecue area and a small children's playground.
